Inspired by my recent trip to London I wanted to share with you some of my favourite healthy eating spots in the capital. London has really stepped it up in the last few years adding more and more plant-based eateries and juice bars. You can now drink Matcha and Turmeric Lattes til your hearts content (Which hasn't always been the case), dine in restaurants with the most instagrammable living wall gardens and get buzzed on Kombucha and beautifying + detoxifying syringe shots (Yes, they exist. Read on to find out where!) London has become a health and wellness mavens playground and I personally am loving it!

{ 1 } Farmacy

The only prescription you need is a reservation at this fine establishment in Notting Hill. I would highly recommend the Brunch or Lunch menu offerings. Farmacy offers an array of delicious plant-based dishes inspired from around the globe. The dishes are free from dairy, refined sugars, additives and chemicals (Whats not to love?!) They have also become famous for their Syringe Shots, think a juice tonic in a syringe . Perfect if you are looking to get a quick boost.

{ 2 } Glow Bar

If you are looking for the cutest, most instagrammable cafe, that is the perfect shade of millennial pink. Then Glow Bar is for you! Nestled just off Regents Street this is the place to come for all your wellness needs. From Apaptogenic Lattes to the latest clean Skin Care products. You could easily spend a small fortune in this place.

{ 3 } Deliciously Ella Deli

I have been a fan of Deliciously Ella (aka Ella Woodward) since her humble days as a blogger. Now the Deliciously Ella brand has quickly expanded past the blog and with 3 books under her belt, snack balls and bars in all major food stores and her first bricks and morter location near Bond Street. Ella Woodward is really leading the movement on wholesome plant-based eating in London. I finally got the chance to visit her new deli on Weighhouse Street. This is the ideal lunch spot in London. Every day you have a selection of delicious vegetables and salads which you can mix and match. Most of the dishes served you can find on her blog or in one of her cookbooks. I love how simple these dishes are to recreate at home.

{ 4 } Farm Girl Cafe

With locations in Notting hill, Chelsea and Soho, Farm Girl has successfully managed to make brunch healthy and cool in London. I visited the Soho location on Canaby Street which sits above the Sweaty Betty Studio concept store (Which if you haven’t been, you must!). Its a light airy space, making it a nice retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Canaby and Oxford St. On the menu you will find items like Gluten Free Granola with Coconut Yogurt, Jack Fruit Tacos, Acai Bowls and Charcoal and Rose Lattes to wet your appetite.

{ 5 } Good Life Eatery

I love the selection of juices at this juice bar/cafe in Chelsea. This place was a frequent pit stop  for me after teaching when I lived in London. My go to juices are the ‘ Drink your Salad’ and ‘Pro Greens’.

{ 6 } Vegan Nights LDN

I am so sad my trip to London didn't align with this once monthly event (Next time London, next time!). This ticketed event occurs once a month on Thursday nights. Embracing the California culture of food trucks Vegan nights brings together all foods Vegan from plant-based burgers to dairy free donuts. The food probably isn’t all that healthy but its great to have so many options now if you do want a cheeky burger that goes beyond the dry, cardboard like burger patties of my youth.

{ 7 } Juice Baby

On the go? Juice Baby is the place for you if you are in the area. With a wide selection of juices and ready to go salads, soups and sandwiches there is no need to eat poorly on the go again! I love the ‘Holy Kale Salad’ and the ‘Sunflower Tuna Melt’.

Any places you’ve been too in London but not listed? Share in the comments below! I would love to hear from you.

Thanks for reading!
